Named by TIME Magazine as “One of the top 10 Theatrical Events in New York City for 2005.” AN EVENING WITH CHRISTINE EBERSOLE at the New World Stages, DIE MOMMIE DIE at the Hudson Theatre starring Charles Bush, Christopher Melonie and Jane Houdyshell, and he produced and directed LILLIAS WHITE AT LINCOLN CENTER JAZZ in association with the New York Times Foundation. One of the Founding Producers of the New York Musical Theatre Festival, he developed and produced two new musicals commissioned by NYMF for the 2005 Festival, PROJECT FOOTLIGHT: WRONG NUMBER an Improv musical in collaboration with the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, the premiere Improv Company in NYC and the new musical LIBERTY SMITH. With his guidance and a team of Founding Producer the New York Musical Theatre Festival won the prestigious Jujancyn Theatre Award for Excellence in Musical Theatre in 2004. Also in New York, the Broadway benefit concert in New York City for World Aids Day, 2004 of PIPPIN starring, Ben Vereen, Rosie O’Donnell, Terrance Mann, Kate Shindle, Julia Murney, Michael Hayden, Laura Benanti, Charles Busch and a cast of 100. In 2003 he produced the Off-Broadway hit, STREAKIN'! A musical flashback to the 1970's (www.streakin.com) which is now playing around the country. TUSK (co-book) at the New York Musical Theatre Festival. (www.tuskthemusical.com) which received the honor of being selected as “Best of Festival Top Five.”

Beginning as an actor he appeared on Broadway and toured in PETER PAN starring Sandy Duncan, George Rose and Christopher Hewitt and ZORBA, starring Anthony Quinn and Lilia Kedrova. He is President and Executive Producer of his own production company Sheppard Productions, LLC, he was Producing Director for the National Musical Theatre Network, Producing Director at Capital Repertory Theatre, Executive Director of Park Playhouse, Executive Director of the New Apollo Theatre, NYC, Creative Producer for The Alcazar, NYC, supervised production as Associate General Manager - Paper Mill Playhouse, Senior Producer for RH Productions. He is a member of Actors Equity Association, Screen Actors Guild, The Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers, the League of Off Broadway Producers, the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and serves on the Board of the Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company.
